Pocket Reference Journals is an Orange County, California woman-owned business that has been publishing unique “info-gift” record-keeping Journals for over 20 years. We pride ourselves on being the first company to introduce this special style of blending information and record-keeping in a pocket-sized product that can also be used as a promotional gift!

Our goal for every Journal is to help people organize, record, and understand the important issues in their lives and make information easily accessible. Each Journal is expertly written, easily understandable, vibrantly illustrated, and proudly printed in the USA for a lifetime of use. Our Journals started with the Pet Passport, which resembles a human passport but is designed specifically for pet owners, now includes a variety of other subject specific medical, financial, and lifestyle journals. We can custom-imprint your Journal for your promotions or write a new one just for your needs! We’re the industry leader in developing pocket-sized record-keepers… often copied, never equaled!

Publisher Bonnie Schachter’s interest in innovation and publishing began shortly after college. Her first company in Boston, Multi-Ling Tours after college was the first to introduce tour guides in Sign Language for the 1976 U.S. Bi-Centennial, in addition to foreign language guides. After a few years in New York creating and managing an inventive party-planning and catering company called Rent-An- Event, and Breakfast With Love, she helped design the Original Pet Passport in 1986 and has gone on to produce 14 unique pocket-sized journals. Her companies have been publicized numerous times on the front page of the Wall St. Journal, on talk shows nationwide, and written about in other media. Our clients range from large corporations

to mothers who order and re-order single Journals for each of their children and grand-children. Pocket Reference Journals has sold millions of children's health journals and other reference guides world-wide and continues to grow. Bonnie makes it all happen by bringing together a talented staff of researchers, writers, graphic artists, and printers who together are committed to producing quality, innovation, and timely Journals.
